Our Loreto Home (for a couple weeks)

Each time we've been to Loreto we've walked by the Villas del Santo Nino many times, not really realizing it was a place for rent. But when I started looking on the internet and came across photos, I recognized it right away. It's the absolute perfect location, situated in the heart of the city about 1/2 block from the town square and 1/2 block from the malecon and the Sea of Cortez. Not to mention that it's about two blocks from Dolphin Dive and the marina.

The owner, Francisco, lives in a small house on the same property. He's very friendly and whenever he sees us, he stops to chat briefly to make sure everything is ok. We would definitely stay here again!

Ours was the top floor suite.

Living room (TV in green hutch), looking towards bedroom & bathroom.
Peacocks in the front yard.
Washer/dryer/clothesline and patio area at ground level.
Cactus garden at the side of the house.
The owner lives in a smaller building off to the side and has a lovely garden area.
The pedestrian walkway looking towards the town square. (Our place is set back on the right hand side.)
The pedestrian walkway looking towards the malecon (note the boat in the water).
The only small eye-sore at the moment is this building under construction right in front of us.
Looks like it will be business shops when completed.
