Belize 2024 - Saint George's Caye - Birds and Flowers

On our daily walks at Saint George's Caye we saw a variety of birds . . . great blue herons, little blue herons, pelicans, cormorants, plovers, ruddy turnstones, and many other shore birds.

Searching for lunch.

Success!

The cormorants look so majestic when they're drying their wings.

Andrew took his camera to most meals as there was a large unique shaped tree beside the dining area, the top of which was level with the balcony, where he got photos of lots of other types of birds including a woodpecker and hummingbird.

The top of the tree in the above photo is behind me.

Lots of flowers added color!

I loved the variety of plants on the property. So colorful even with no flowers.
